Investing in property is not for the weak-kneed and faint-hearted. It is a business and needs structure and the right attitude.
Over the years I’ve told many people not to get involved due to their attitude.
Overthinking – This tends to make people go around in circles and get nowhere.
Confusion – Mixing wanting to buy property and the actual buying phase in the same bucket. You must decide to invest first, get set up to do this, then buy according to the parameters you have set up.
Rose tinted glasses – This attitude normally ends in tears.
Investing in property is no different in principle to buying a dairy or lawn mowing round. It must be done professionally without emotion for it to be able to succeed.
It is not a one size fits all project and it’s not a sprint race.
