How many times have you heard people say, for example:
“I didn’t bother with a builder’s report”
So they feel pleased they have saved $400 – $600.
Wrong. They may have missed picking up defects that will cost thousands to repair.
So many people take short cuts to avoid a few dollars which, in my opinion, is utter stupidity. Spend the time and money doing full due diligence at the beginning to save the possible grief later on.
In my experience, whilst it is annoying, when you pay for a builder’s report which tells you not to buy, I’d rather spend now to save later.
