Should I or Shouldn’t I?

Yes, but what is the question?

Should I invest with my best friend or my family?

NO!  Would be my response.

If you do, getting all the legal and tax structures is important, however in my view, not the most important.

Where most people go wrong is that they never give enough importance to the emotional side.  This means starting with the absolute worse case scenario and working backwards.

What say it’s a total flop and you lose all your money?

How will you cope?

How will they cope?

What say your fellow investor has a marriage break-up and wants their money back?

What say you start to hate one another?

If you have enough money to invest then don’t have a partner as it’s too hard!
